Audio, Music Production and Sound Design
About
Sam is an audio engineer, specialising in music production, recording, mixing and mastering, as well as audio based advertising.
Sam's interest in audio began when he first learned to play the guitar. He became passionate about how to make his guitar sound like his favourite artists. Therefore, he began studying music production from the age of 14. Sam's first official education into audio production began at Wymondham High Sixth form, where he studied Music Technology. He then further pursued audio production at Anglia Ruskin University in Cambridge and completed the course with a Bachelors Degree.
Sam gained practical audio experience during several projects which include, but are not limited to, recording a touring trumpet player using Studio 4 at ARU Cambridge, and becoming the sound engineer for the Mardler Talking Newspaper.
Most recently, Sam has been working at Future Radio as a Broadcast Assistant, engaging in many audio related tasks, including creating Jingles and Ads for the station. Sam has also been working with Cambridge Chronicles, creating custom soundtracks and jingles for projects, as well as editing podcasts and being an on site recordist.
